TEACHING A NOBLE  PROFESSION

                                          My future aim is to become a teacher because according to me it is the noblest profession in the world. When I say  I remember the quotation of chanakya where he shows the power of the teaching "A teacher is never an ordinary person the construction and destruction can be produced in his lap".......This is from where I got the inspiration to choose this profession as my career.Teaching is a very important activity where the future of many children depends.

                             The word teaching itself means the work of a teacher to provide knowledge and guidance. It is the oldest and noblest services to the society in any culture.But there a question always remains in everyones mind that weather teaching is a profession or a duty.The answer for this question is that when we go through the oxford dictionary we can find that the word profession means "a paid occupation"and duty means "a moral responsibility".So it is better to call teaching as a duty than a profession.Teaching does not means that leading the students to the right path but it is molding the future generation and also :

1) It is the process to impart knowledge to the students.

2) A process of causing change.

3)A process to instruct and guide others.

                                         Teaching is the noblest among all the profession because all the professionals are formed through the hands of a teacher.He is the one who prepares the next future Doctors,Engineers,Politicians,Educators and also the good citizens.

At this very moment  I remember the poem  of  Abhraham lincon to

his sons teacher seeing him to guide his son in the right path and also he ask him to teach his son about the crooked ways that are hidden in the path of life and also to make him a good citizen.                                    Our former president APJ Abdul kalam in his autobiography "the wings of fire" he mentioned the gratitude for his science teacher Shivasubramaniya iyer for his care ,guidance and support which lead him to stand  in position as a scientist.

                           So teaching is not only a duty but a moral duty and it is not a profession but a noble service to the world..
